The SARIS sugar brand :
Since 2010 SARIS has been marketing its sugar under the Princess Tatie brand. This mass-produced ready-to-eat sugar is conditioned in appropriate packaging.

Other SARIS businesses :
Limestone crushing plant : in 2007 SARIS acquired a limestone crushing plant located in Madingou, 30km from N'Kayi. This plant produces limestone powder for sugar cane field soil improvement as well as gravel for the civil engineering market.
Corn and soy project : SARIS wishes to participate int the development of village-based corn and soy growing near the sugarcane area in order to foster industrial development.
SARIS Congo has been growing local and hybrid varieties that will help determine the most optimal ones for the SARIS environment.

The SARIS foundation:
SARIS Foundation is in the process of recruiting field volunteers. The country representative of France Volontaires just completed an assessment visit with a view to hiring a volunteer shortly. The renovation of the Foundation premises located right next to the town of Nkayi is about to be finished.

Fuzz: Since 2007 SARIS has led a program aiming at mass selecting a variety of sugar canes from sugar cane seeds coming from the hybridization station on the Reunion Island. Every year SARIS introduces 4,000 new varieties to be tested and selected through a 12-year selection process.
GPS-guided agricultural machines: SARIS is modernizing its approach to agriculture and adopted an advanced technology: satellite for agricultural machines. 25 drivers were trained on this new tool which reduces fertilizer use and is a breakthrough in terms of integrated farming.
Environment-friendly initiatives: since 2007 SARIS has planted more than 12,000 eucalyptuses on its entire property to ensure the fast reforestation of the surrounding land.
