The CST development projects :

The launch of the CST Foundation has fostered actions supporting initiatives at the local level. In the first quarter those initiatives resulted in the organization of several training programs designed to structure and strengthen group management capacities, support project planning and design to  develop their activities.

As a result training programs on organization, accounting and feasibility surveys have been set up. Those training programs are also dedicated to educational and health-oriented community structures. They gathered 134 people representing more than 65 groups and associations within the scope of the CST foundation.CST-Fondation

Cogeneration : CST already uses bagasse (sugar cane residue) as a source of energy production, including for plant boilers and selected irrigation pumps. It has been considering the possibility of completely leveraging this resource so as to power its entire irragation system and export part of it onto the Chadian elecric network.

Before creating its foundation CST facilitated several medical outreach programs with the support of the Médico Lions Club.
